Quando uma capital perde população, ela também perde repasses federais e estaduais; a Câmara de Vereadores encolhe; e, principalmente, dá a impressão que menos gente se sente atraída a morar nela e que os locais estão pensando que a vida pode ser melhor em outro lugar.
Belo Horizonte foi a capital que mais encolheu no Sudeste no último Censo. Perdeu mais de 2,5% da população. tem vazios urbanos. A promessa de virar um polo digital não se cumpriu. E tem perdido a disputa com cidades vizinhas, até onde o m2 é mais caro, como Nova Lima. Mas será que o urbanismo e BH é inferior ao de Nova Lima? O que isso revela sobre o Brasil?
